About Us

As a recent dog owner, I was amazed at how many sites were on the web, but no place provided ideas for dog trips with sample itineraries. There was not a community for dog owners to discuss travel plans, share itineraries and brag about their dog.

Taking a dog on a trip somewhere for the first time is worrisome. You don't know how well your friend will be regarded or what activities are available that are dog friendly. The goal of this site is not to be a one stop shop for everything dog. The goal of this site is to be a resource for dog owners, planning trips with their dogs. I hope that owners will stop in, find or share a useful itinerary. It is much easier to learn from someone else’s mistakes and triumphs than to go it alone.
